• How do I prepare for the service?

  • Clear the Floor: Please remove small items (toys, shoes, breakables) and small furniture (dining chairs, side tables). We can clean around large sofas/beds, or move them if previously agreed.
  • Vacuuming: We will be performing a thorough vacuuming on the carpet before cleaning. This is a mandatory step.
  • Parking: Our equipment is heavy; a parking spot close to the entrance is greatly appreciated.
  • Pets: Please secure pets in a separate room for their safety and ours.

• What happens after the clean?

  • Walking: The carpet will be damp to the touch. You may walk on it with clean socks (no shoes!), but be careful walking from carpet to tiles as your feet will be slippery.

  • Drying Time: Typical drying time is 4–8 hours depending on airflow and heating.
  • Ventilation: Please keep windows open or heating on (low) to aid drying.
  • Furniture: If we placed foil tabs or blocks under furniture legs, do not remove them for 24 hours. They prevent rust or wood stain from damaging your wet carpet.

• Can you get rid of any / all stains?

  While our industry-grade Kärcher equipment and professional solutions deliver exceptional results, we believe in honest communication regarding stain removal:

  • Stains vs. Damage: There is a difference between a “stain” (dirt sitting on the fiber) and “damage” (chemical alteration of the fiber). We can remove dirt, wine, and food spills, but we cannot fix acid burns, bleached spots, or wear-and-tear where the carpet fibers are physically worn down.
  • Old Stains: Stains that have been on the carpet for a long time, or those previously treated with generic supermarket stain removers, may have “set” into the dye of the carpet. While we will do our absolute best to lift them, we cannot guarantee 100% removal of every stain.
  • “Wicking” (Reappearing Stains): Occasionally, a deep stain may disappear during cleaning but reappear slightly as the carpet dries. This is called “wicking”—where the moisture pulls deep dirt up to the surface. If this happens, please let us know; a quick light reclean of that spot usually fixes it.
